Interchangeable Headbands

For those of you that have visited our booth at the Quilted Bear lately, you are probably familiar with our interchangeable headbands. We have different colors and size for little ladies of all sizes.
All of our Tootsie Bug Headbands are sewn rather then glued, for longer durability, this makes the Nylon ones completely machine washable. That's right, when they start looking dirty and gross you can just throw them in the washing machine, instead of having to buy a new one.
You can mix and match them with any of our small or large Flower Clips and/or Bow Clips (with a non-slip grip) You simply slip the clip through the ribbon pocket on the top of the headband.
We introduced a new nylon headband a couple weeks ago. It is a pink or purple polka dot. It is $8.00 and super cute with a pink or purple flower attached. Here are a few pictures of the headbands that we carry including the POLKA DOT. =]

Art City Days Parade

Tootsie Bug was lucky enough to have the opportunity to sponsor the Springville Art City Days Baby Contest. It was so much fun!! We have actually decided to take it over completely next year. So if you are interested in being a judge or volunteer next year, please let us know.

The pictures below are from the parade float for the winners. Aren't they cute!? We only got a couple of pictures taken before the battery died. But hey, it's the thought that counts...right?

We can hardly believe that Summer is just around the corner. I'm sure you are just as excited for the warm weather as we are.

We are pleased to announce that you can now buy Tootsie Bug's entire product line at the Quilted Bear in Provo. We have recently added our Interchangeable Headbands, Interchangeable Flowers (of all sizes), Interchangeable bows and our pre-made infant/toddler headbands to the end cap at the QB next to our original booth. Such good news for us and definitely more convenient for you! =] Stop in often, as our product selection is constantly changing.

We sew elastic band together in several different sizes, then hand tie various colors of tulle all the way around the elastic. Most of our custom tutus have between 50-75 yards of tulle each, making the tutus very full and princess like. Some are sold alone while others are embellished with a big Gerber Daisy at the waist, ribbon, bows and rhinestones. There are lots of fun colors and styles to choose from and our bows, headbands, Glamour Tees & Buggie Bottoms are made to match.

Our Hair Bow Clippies are made with one or two prong salon quality alligator clips. The entire upper part of the clip is lined with various colored ribbon. The ribbon is then heat sealed on both ends to prevent fraying. The bows are all hand tied, heat sealed and then glued to the ribbon lined clips.We also add a small liner to the top, inside of the clip to help keep them from slipping out of the hair. Some are sold alone, others have flowers, rhinestones or both added to them. They are sold in sets of two. Several colors and sizes are also available.

Nylon headbands are made with exceptionally soft nylon. To achieve the desired color we hand dye all nylons and wash them all to improve softness and color stay. Next ribbon is tied into a bow and is hand sewn to the headband to ensure the highest possible quality. All of Tootsie Bug's Nylon Headbands are sewn rather then glued which makes the back of the headbands tremendous soft for baby's delicate heads. A small flower with a rhinestone center is added. The headbands come in a variety of colors and sizes.
